Mr. Lawrence Chan Director

Mr Lawrence Chan joined the Company as Director in July 2018. Previously he was the Chief Corporate Development Officer of Ezion Holdings Limited, heading the commercial, corporate development and legal functions. Mr Chan earned a Master of Business Administration from Nanyang Technological University and BI Norwegian Business School, and is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and a Barrister-at-law of England & Wales (Middle Temple).

Thusitha Peiris General Manager, Operations

A Certified Business Accountant, Thusitha started his career as an Audit Supervisor at KPMG. He then served as Finance and Administration Manager at Ansro Lanka. Subsequently, Thusitha became General Manager of Pensonic Lanka where he successfully grew the Pensonic brand into a 500m LKR business with 225 dealers over 3 years. Combining financial training with hands-on operational experience, Thusitha drives business development activities while overseeing WKV’s operations. Thusitha is currently holds the position of Secretary of “Small Hydro Power Developer’s Association”.

Gerard Suares Chief Financial Officer

Gerard is a highly experienced Chartered Accountant with 25 years of financial and accounting experience. Starting as Audit Supervisor at KPMG, Gerard has worked in 5 listed companies, progressing from Accountant at John Keels PLC to CFO at Norfolk Foods and CW Mackie PLC. He has experience in many industries (manufacturing, distribution, retail, import/export, trading, leasing and finance, etc), managed IT departments and implemented SAP/Oracle ERP systems.

Sudath Pathmal Chief Technology Officer

Sudath graduated with 1st Class Honours in Mechanical Engineering at University of Moratuwa before spending 14 years in positions of increasing responsibility at LTL, the largest electrical engineering group in Sri Lanka. He has local and overseas experience as Design Engineer, Construction & Erection Engineer, Operations Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Plant Manager and Project Manager in thermal power, hydro power and substations. Sudath is heading a Team of Engineers including Electrical, Mechanical and Civil.

Hasantha Sooriyaarachchi Human Resource Manager

Hasantha started his career as a programme officer at the Institute of Personnel Management before becoming a fully qualified HR professional himself. He progressed rapidly in his career, especially at WNS Global Services. Before joining WKV, he was HRM at Avani Bentota Resort and Spa. Hasantha has successfully overcome many different challenges in managing outsourced knowledge workers as well as unionized staff in the hospitality industry.

Isuri Karunachandra Manager – Legal

Practicing as a Corporate Lawyer, Isuri is having around 08 years of experience in the Corporate Legal and Secretarial Departments. Commencing her career at a Listed Investment Banking Institute in Sri Lanka, Isuri has experiences in many industries (finance, hotel, real estate, entertainment, trading, information technology and apparel) and has handled company mergers and take overs, IPOs, BOI projects, compliance reporting and legal due diligences.

Chamanthi Perera Finance Manager

Chamanthi is a qualified Chartered Accountant with 10 years of experience in auditing and accounting sector. She is also a graduate from University of Sri Jayawardenepura with a special degree in Business Administration. She started her professional career as an audit trainee at Kingsley Jayalath & Company and later she managed different auditing and accounting assignments as a manager at B.R.De Silva & Company.
